Do you offer ADHD testing and diagnosis?Yes, I perform ADHD testing on individuals ages 6 and up who intend to keep seeing me for therapy and/or medication management. The ADHD testing I provide is focused on identifying mild to moderate cases of ADHD and includes a range of assessments that evaluate attention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. However, it does not include the full battery of tests that may be necessary if there is a suspected learning disability or intellectual deficit. In such cases, a psychologist would need to conduct more extensive testing to evaluate cognitive functioning and other potential factors. If further evaluation is needed, I will guide you toward the appropriate resources.

Do you offer Autism assessments and diagnosis?Yes, I perform autism assessments and diagnosis for verbally fluent clients ages 12 and up who intend to continue seeing me therapy, and/or medication management. There is no specific "test" for autism. Autism is diagnosed through a comprehensive evaluation that includes developmental screenings, medical history, behavioral observations, and standardized diagnostic tools. I received special training to be able to administer the the Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing Autism Spectrum, Second Edition (MIGDAS-2), a sensory-based process for gathering and organizing the qualitative information needed to diagnose autism in children, adolescents, and adults. The process involves gathering information from parents/caregivers and teachers, and conducting a sensory-based interview with the individual being evaluated. The end result is a comprehensive behavioral profile that describes the individual’s distinct way of relating to the world, to supplement and inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
